Originally these pictures were to be used for covers in a new graphic novel series about American otaku who become superheroes, they I feel now have a greater calling. I feel as an anime fan and artist something must be done to help the nation of Japan. A place we revere for its culture both traditional and popular, and for the inspiration its animated and comic art has ignited in many an artist from around the world. All most every artist I know now a day that urn to be a cartoonist in any capacity does so because of the influence they have received from Japan. We may not be able to save the world, but we can at least help bring some rays of light back to the land of the rising sun. Humanity is watching let us not waver it is time for the otaku of the world to show that we can be more than a bunch of internet jockeys and coach potatoes. That we are greater than the sum of our collective interests, OTAKU UNITE.
Proceeds go to the relief efforts for Japan.
