The defense of Rorke’s Drift. After the annihilation of Isandhlwana, the Zulus march to the lone British outpost at Rorke’s Drift. A small band of men hear about the destruction of the main British army but because of the hospital, they can’t abandon the fort. When they find out 1000’s of Zulus are coming, the 100 men or so decide to make a stand. It will become the most decorated battle in British history.
Overview

When the Zulus attack the main column of the British at Isandhlwana, to the surprise of the world, the Zulus annihilate the British army and ravage the dead. The British, after the humiliating defeat now realize that they only have about 100 men to defend Rorke's Drift against 1000's of attacking Zulus. The defense of Rorke's Drift is considered one of England's greatest victories and came within hours of one of their greatest defeats.
